How to Apply GreenFire® Pro Defense?
Walls & Eaves: Using a backpack sprayer or other suitable applicator, apply broad strokes up, across and down. Use a sweeping side to side motion that overlaps to make sure that all the surface is evenly coated. If it has been thoroughly absorbed, you may have to come back and apply a second coat.
Windows: When applying the product, spray away from the glass. It can leaves streaks and spots on the windows.
Fencing: Use the same technique as when spraying the walls and eaves of the home; a sweeping side to side motion, making sure the surface is adequately coated.
Landscape: Spray ground-cover, bark, and/or mulch that has been piled around plants, while making sure to avoid the leaves. Use a systematic pattern that overlaps for even coverage using multiple angles to ensure maximum saturation. Avoid leaves and foliage on live plants.
Creating a Defensible Space to Protect Your Home from a Wildfire
In addition to treating your home, GreenFire® Pro Defense can also be used to create a defensible space around your property. Treat dry grass, stubble, and debris to provide an extra layer of protection.

- Avoid Living Vegetation: GreenFire® Pro Defense is not intended for use on living plants or trees. The residue can suffocate leaves and grass.
- Personal Protective Equipment: While applying, it is important to always wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including long sleeves, pants, gloves, safety glasses, and an N95 mask, when applying GreenFire® Pro Defense.
- Wash The Product Off: This is an all natural product that will protect your property with minimal negative consequences. Our product has many common, natural surfactants found in household detergents, so make sure to rinse your hands after applying GreenFire® Pro Defense. Exercise sound judgement. If you get it on you, wash it off.
